🧶 What Is Untwisted Thoughts?
Untwisted Thoughts is a collaborative problem-solving game for grades 3–8. Student teams investigate a real-world challenge, develop and refine a solution, respond to creative constraints, and present their thinking through four card suits—plus an optional Tie-Off reflection round.
Use it as a standalone activity or as a facilitation tool within PBL, Design Thinking, SEL, STEM, or other inquiry-based lessons. It supports these frameworks but does not replace them. A typical session lasts 45–60 minutes, with optional scoring for friendly competition.

After two or three Thread cards, pause for 5–15 minutes so teams can record an initial solution. Untangle and Twist cards help them strengthen or adapt it before presenting.
